Update on availability, ordering and special promotions for Cius products.
Cisco Cius is generating substantial interest from partners and customers. As with all new products, Cius will continue to be on New Product Hold. All partners or customers ordering Cius must also complete the Experience Assurance Program (“EAP”) survey to ensure readiness and proper deployment. New product hold will be released for orders that successfully complete the EAP process. It is anticipated that orders will be released at the end of July with a lead time of approximately thirty days. Partners who order Cius must hold the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization; Advanced Wireless Specialty is recommended. Special pricing for the Cius is available through the Cius/VXC Partner Pricing promotion and the Triple V promotion.
Experience Assurance Program: The Cius Experience Assurance Process is designed to ensure the best possible customer experience by assessing the readiness of the customer's network. Familiarize yourself with the Cius Experience Assurance Process PDF, posted on Partner Central. All orders will remain on new product hold until the EAP has been successfully completed. Orders will be released from NPH when a ship date has been assigned. It is anticipated that ship dates will be assigned by end of July, after which the partner will receive the standard notification from the ordering tool with a confirmed ship date. Lead times are currently estimated at 30 days after a ship date is assigned.
